Course Objectives The aim of this course is to give general information about the basic concepts of pharmacology, drug doses, guidelines of giving drugs and effects of drugs.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Will be able to learn the basic concepts of pharmacology
  • Will be able to learn the interaction of drugs in the body, drugs used based for the system.
  • Will be able to list the factors that change the effect of drugs
  • Will be able to describe the mechanism of action, side effects and contraindications of drugs used in emergency medicine (cardiovascular system, respiratory system, gastrointestinal system, genitourinary system, metabolic aciller, neurological system drugs)
  • Will be able to define what to do in case of poisoning.
